Collection System Repair & Replacement Project

The Clallam Bay-Sekiu Sewer System recieves significant inflow/infiltration of water in the system which leads to regular sewage overflow events. During the development of the General Sewer/WasteWater Facilities Plan in 2018, the County prioiritized pipe repair and manhole replacement projects that should greatly reduce or eliminate these events. The County was selected to recieve a $6.2 million grant/loan package from the Department of Ecology to complete the repair projects in 2020-2023. View project maps and estimated timeline; find information on the project alternatives, including a comparative cost analysis, considered by the County.

A public meeting will be held at the Sekiu Community Center on October 15th from 6-8 pm to share information on project locations, alternatives and impacts, and a proposed schedule and information on sewer rates. View the agenda in the link below.
