Advisory and Regulatory
Clallam County is served by advisory and regulatory Boards, Commissions and Committees which pass on valuable information to the Board of Commissioners and County departments to help officials make informed decisions about various local issues. County residents volunteer to serve on an advisory or regulatory Board, Commission or Committee and are appointed by the Board of Commissioners. The County is appreciative of the many residents who volunteer their time and talents to our local government process. Meetings are open to the public. Vacancies may occur upon completion of term or a resignation. For a list of current openings, please refer to the Boards/Commissions/Committees Vacancy List. Submittal of a completed application to the Board of County Commissioners office is required. Each Committee, Commission or Board may have its own set of eligibility requirements, applicants may be interviewed and subject to a background check.
